Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves,
for the rights of all who are destitute.

Speak up and judge fairly;
defend the rights of the poor and needy.
— Proverbs 31:8-9

We need Christian 20 and 30 somethings committed to the Biblical call to do justice, not just to learn about injustice.

Awareness of injustice is an invitation from God to love others more fully. Throughout Scripture we’re exhorted to speak up for the marginalized, the poor, and the oppressed.

Begin to fulfill this call by sharing what you’ve learned with your friends, family, and lawmakers and tell them why you believe that youth prisons are unjust and should be closed.
